Prayers for the youth and marriages – 22 Mar 2009 Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Father we pray for our children today. Thank you for their unique callings. Thank you for giving them to us. We pray right now that we would be able to encourage them, bless them, and guide them into their futures. Father, we pray that we would be able to instill godly principles into our youths. Teach us to discipline them with the love of the Lord. Guide our mouths, actions, and hearts. Help us be living examples of Christ to our children. We thank You Lord. We pray as well that we would be able to pass on love, joy, and happiness. Lord, life is not just about discipline. Help us Father. You are all we need. Father, we pray for all the marriages right now in this world. We pray for those couples that have been living together for many years, have had children, yet they never made their vows. Lord, we pray that couples would be committed. There is a power when two become one. We pray that couples would begin to realise the weight, the meaning, and the meaning of the vows they make the day they get married. Father, we pray today that marriages would be strengthened and encouraged. We pray that they would find strong support to encourage and to be accountable to. Lord, we pray that marriages will be blessed today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
