Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 13 May 2010

No other like our God-give everything to God The Lord our God is reminding us today to submit ourselves to God. Give everything to Him. Draw close to Him and stay far away for the devil. There is no other God like ours. As we draw close to Him so will he. James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. I pray we would stop responding to situations in the flesh. Some of us may be at a critical crossroad, right now. We are uncertain of our futures and what God wants us to do. It is time to submit ourselves to Him and stop being distracted. The Lord wants to speak to us. If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. Some of us may be in a major fight with a love one, or nearing the verge of a divorce. The Lord is reminding us to draw close to Him. STOP responding in ways which are not submitted to God. Are we being double-minded? The Lord our God is not a God of confusion. James 4:10 Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up. It is time we all learn how to humble ourselves. We might think we are the most humble. We might think we have sacrificed more than others. BUT THE LORD IS SAYING TO US, SO WHAT!!!!
