Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 29 May 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, we pray our children would recognise that they have been blessed and anointed by You with gifts and talents. Right now in the name of Jesus we pray that we would not throw away what You have given to us. We pray right now O Lord that we would be able to use our gifts to make an impact in the Kingdom of God. We pray against confusion. We pray against distractions and our human desires. Help us O Lord to walk in complete surrender to You. Open the eyes of every heart right now. We break pride. We break self-righteousness. We all need a self-check. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

As we continue to pray for marriages, we pray that every couple would recognise the importance in healing their past. Any unresolved issues, unforgiveness, hurt, bitterness, and issues from the past will be past on into your marriage and to our children if we do not ask the Lord to heal and to forgive. Today, is the day the Lord says! The Lord wants us to deal with what needs dealing with. If we are trying to move on our own way, we will fail. Today, let us do things the way God wants. Father, give us the strength. Give us the courage and boldness to face our past so that we can walk forward anew. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
