Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 5 May 2010

No other God like our God-deal with your anger Ephesians 4:26-27 In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold. I wonder how many suns have we let down while we are still angry. Has it been months, years, and decades? I pray we would never allow the devil a foothold into our lives through anger. The moment we bring in anger into our marriage, family, home, and relationships-we have given the devil an open door. There is no other God like our God! It is time we deal with our anger and hurt. Imagine going to sleep with a bitter heart, an angry soul, and a mind ready to blow. Today, the Lord is encouraging us to deal with our anger so we will not give the devil a foothold to destroy our lives. Do we have an anger problem? Maybe we have a quick temper? Are our emotions out of control? Maybe we do not deal with anger, instead we avoid conflicts? The devil MUST NOT HAVE A FOOTHOLD. It is time we settle our hurts and issues.
