Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 5 May 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

We pray for every single child in this world. Help us O Lord to remember to pray for them everyday. We pray You would enable us to call out the destiny in every child. Help us O Lord. Guide us O Lord, so we may be able to help them find their talents and gifts. O Lord we remember Your Words today from the parable of the talents. We pray that none of our children would ever be like the servant who buried that one coin and threw away his gifts and talents. Lord help us remember that every child has been made by You. Each is unique and special. Each has a calling and today, we pray that none would ever compare themselves to others. Help us find our security in You. In Jesus mighty name, we pray that You would pour out Your Spirit upon our children. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.

Bind every mouth o Lord which is abusive and unconstructive. The mouth and tongue has the power to speak life or death. Today we pray and claim that every marriage would speak life to one and another. We pray that the name of our Lord would always be spoken in our homes. We pray that every marriage would be founded upon the Word of God. Lead us and guide us O Lord. In the name of Jesus we pray that every couple would check their hearts right now. We pray for honesty and nothing be kept secret. We pray that couples would be firmly planted and rooted in righteousness. By the blood of Jesus which was shed on the cross, we pray for every marriage right now. The ones which are strong and the ones falling apart. Give us the strength to persevere through every season. Help us. We are weak and You are strong. In Jesus name, amen.
