Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 26 Sept 2008

What you value most - #9 Don’t miss the boat As I have stated before, God loves us all so much that He created you and me unique. However, He can use anyone to fulfill His plans. Today we have the ability to embark on the journey that God planned, or we can chose to stay back. If it isn’t you or me, then God will use someone else. Today’s word of encouragement is this, let us not miss the boat because we were too slow to understand what God was trying to say to us all along, because we couldn’t wake up, because we had to stop at the grocery store to get our dinner, what is your excuse? My excuse is often, I’m not good enough, I’m not smart enough, the fear of failure, the inability to provide for my family, and many more. But in the end of the day, I still need to answer God. Why did I miss the boat? Today, I hope we choose to get on the boat, and walk with Jesus for the rest of our lives. Matthew 14:29 Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, "Lord, save me!" 31Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.
