Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 11 Sept 2008

Giving: A second chance Today’s word of encouragement is about giving people a second chance. Everyone makes mistakes and we will continue making mistakes till the day we leave this earth. If God has given us all many second chances in life, why is it that we cannot do the same for people? If our heart has been hardened today because of something someone said about us, miscommunication, hurt, and something that we are angry about, it is time we remember what Jesus did for us on the cross. Is there someone we need to give a second chance to today? Maybe it is your husband or wife that keeps hurting you and making the same mistakes over and over again, is it worth it to lose your marriage over this issue or does God have bigger things planned?
