Prayers for the youth and marriages - 19 Sept 2008

Father today we pray for all the babies in China. In 2008, it seems like it has been a year of challenge, obstacles, trials, and suffering for China. The Sichuan earthquakes and now over 6,000 children are ill due to a chemical called melamine with several companies in China have used to reflect higher protein content. We pray right now that you would use these events, trials, and adversity to rebuild and strengthen the nation of China through its youth. Without a doubt, You O Lord are going to use the youth of China to make a great and lasting impact for the Kingdom of God. Today we shout your praise, we thank you, we pray that you would bring healing, protect these youths, and may they come to know you as their Lord and Savior. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Father, we pray for marriages today, especially parents who have lost children. Today, we pray that you would build and strengthen marriages that they will be grounded and rooted in You. May marriages today all across the world be founded upon the Word of God and nothing else. We pray that you would touch the hearts of all your sons and daughters who are currently walking in a difficult marriage. We pray for perseverance, strength, courage, and faith. Teach us not to give up so quickly. Teach us how to bless and not curse. Teach us Father, humble us today. In the name of Jesus we pray for the divorce rate to come down today and forevermore.
