Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 25 Sept 2008

What you value most - #8 A call, a cause, greater yourself Today’s word of encouragement is about valuing a cause that is greater than yours. Is God’s cause higher than your dreams, higher than your desire? It is easy to say yes, but do we really mean what we say? Why are we doing the things that we are doing? If we cannot answer this question, or if we are trying our hardest to defend out cause, most likely we have absolutely no idea why God created us for. Would you rather be wealthy and rich but die without ever fulfilling your purpose? Or would you rather be tested, tried, persecuted, and challenged because you are fulfilling and doing exactly what God called you to do? There are many questions that we need to answer. I hope we are in communication with God. There is only one person you really need to answer these questions to and that is God.
