Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 5 Sept 2008

Giving of your time- How much? I don’t know about you, but sometimes I value time more than I do money. Like for an example, traffic jams. To be stuck in a traffic jam for hours would drive me crazy, because I know that in that time I could be doing something useful. Today’s word of encouragement is about sacrificing your time. It is amazing how much time we are willing to give up to those that we love, like, and what a relationship with. How about the difficult child that wants your attention? How about the lonely? How about our parents? When it comes to our time with God, how much time do you “sacrifice” talking to God on a daily basis? Is it a sacrifice to you, or is it joy to you? How much time do you give reading the Word? When it comes to our family, how much time do you give spending time and quality time with your wife/husband, children, and parents?
