Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 20 Sept 2008

What you value most - #3 Fine-tuning and hearing God? God has given us all many talents and gifts. Today’s word of encouragement is about fine-tuning our ears and listening to God. The question I have for you is this: Have you chosen a career path because of selfish desires? Or, have you chosen a career path because you fully 100% listened and obeyed God? We need to ask ourselves this question as well. Do we really believe what the Bible says, and do we fully trust God that He will provide for us. If God has specifically told us to do something but we deliberately hold back, I can tell you that it is going to be the most frustrating experience. God is our provider and He knows what will satisfy our hearts more than we know. Is it possible to be a billionaire and still feel like life is empty, and unfulfilled? In my opinion life is always going to feel empty and unfilled if we never obey and listen to God. He has a specific purpose for creating you and me. By fulfilling God’s plans for our lives, we will attain more satisfaction in life and money cannot even by this.
