Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 19 Sept 2008

What you value most - #2 What have I been created to do? After we have realized that God spent so much time creating each one of us, we now can get more specific with our prayers. Today’s word of encouragement is asking God to reveal to you all the gifts and talents He has given you. But more importantly, asking God, what have I been created to do? This is a fact, we are on earth only for a short while. On average a person lives only 28,470 days and that is if one lives up to the age of 78. Imagine being 30 years old right now and you are doing something in life that pays well, but everyday is a drain and pain to go to work. Or you could be doing what YOU LOVE TO DO, and you are completely satisfied with life, but have we stopped and ask God, “God what do you want me to do? What can I do that can make an impact for the Kingdom of God?” At 30 years of age we will only hat 17,520 days left on average. We have two choices either find out exactly what we have been made to do today or simply wait till a life changing experience awakens you and you been to see what God was trying to say all along. No one can live your life for you, but I do pray and hope that we would be encouraged today to find out exactly what God has called us to do for His Kingdom, and not for our own needs, desires, means, and satisfaction.
