Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 4 Sept 2008

Be a Giver more than a receiver In this new series, I sense God wanting us all to develop a spirit of giving. In my opinion, giving from the heart is totally different than a person giving because he/she wants something back in return. God see's right through us. He knows what is inside each and everyone of us. Right now let us all check our hearts, are we the type of people that expect blessings? Are we the type that expects rewards for EVERY good thing we have done? Today's word of encouragement is about giving without ever expecting anything back in return, but it is really a heart issue. Gaining the ability to recognize God's will over our own needs, desires, and wants. Are we placing God above all?
