Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 25 July 2008

Unveiling our sin: Tuning in to the right channel Galatians 5:19-21 says, The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissension, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. In my opinion to be aware of our sins and to recognize our flaws is better than living life foolishly unaware of the sins we commit. Everyday is a battle. Just because we call ourselves sons and daughters of God does not excuse us from sin. I believe that the reason why so many of us have grown stagnant with our walk with God, or have absolutely no clue what on earth we are living for and what purpose we have in life, is because we take bits and pieces of God and mix it with our sin nature. God is clear. It is man who complicates. How in the world can we mix God with our sin nature? If we want God we have to get real with God. Today, I believe that many of us will have to get real with Him. God is watching our every move. Those alone times, those quiet and dark times when no one is watching. God is clear when it come to sin and disobedience.
