Unveiling our sin: Hidden to the world Galatians 5:19-21 says, The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissension, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. Right now this very minute let’s examine our hearts. What are we hiding from the world? What are secrets that no one knows? I hope we realize that God see’s everything. Matthew 10:26, So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. Let us remember Romans 7:18. To know that nothing good lives in me, is unveiling our sin. Is God part of our lives or have we set God apart, divided, distant, and cold? Romans 7:18 says, I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. Today, I hope that we will be able to unveil our hidden and darkest secrets.
