Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 18 July 2008

Ten Commandments: #6 You shall not murder. There is a difference between freedom of the world and freedom defined by God. The sixth commandment states, you shall not murder. In 1 John 3:15 the Word of God also states, Anyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life in Him. Hate and murder are intertwined. The Bible says it clearly that anyone who hates is a murderer. Today, let’s examine our hearts. Are we walking with hatred towards anyone? If we are, it is time we seek restoration, bring healing, if not we will not have eternal life with our Lord. As I was writing today’s word of encouragement, God was showing me a vision of many people walking with hatred inside their hearts towards people and loved ones. If that is you, I pray that God would comfort you right now this hour. The choice is yours. No one can force you to let go your hate, but I pray and hope that the Word of God will move you today to take action.
