Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 3 July 2008

Joy, unfailing joy. Today’s word of encouragement addresses two vital aspects of life. Firstly, are we bringing joy to God through our walk? Secondly, are we bringing joy to our parents through our walk? The current state of our relationship with our Lord matters a lot. In my opinion it is easy to figure out if we are bringing joy to our Lord. The Word of God tells us clearly what brings Him joy. God has no greater joy than to hear that His children are walking in the truth. Are we bringing joy to our parents through our walk? The ten commandments states that we are to honor our parents. In my prayers, I pray that I can bring joy to my parents before they leave this earth. Today, I believe that God is specifically going to use this daily word of encouragement to bring joy to our lives and to our family.
