Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 23 July 2008

Unveiling our sin Galatians 5:19-21 says, The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissension, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. The Lord has filled my heart with so much excitement because of this new series that we will embark on. To unveil our sins, the Lord says that the sinful nature is obvious. If it is obvious, I believe that everyone reading this including myself will have the ability to nail our sins daily and take up cross. Let us pray for open hearts right now, that God would open all our hearts. Father, please Lord humble our pride and remove the clouds that makes us blind. God, open our hearts as we all embark on this new series that we would be able to gain freedom from our sins, because we want to inherit the kingdom of God. Father, we long to be with you.
