Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 5 July 2008

Joy, unfailing joy. I end this series on unfailing joy in our lives with this simple prayer of encouragement. The Lord is telling me that many of us reading this word of encouragement are praying and believing for many things, yet God hasn’t given us clarity, an answer, a direction. We must find peace. God knows best. Without peace in our hearts, we will be restless and most definitely there will be a lack of joy on a daily basis. Father, we thank you for your promises which never come back void (Isaiah 55:11). So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Lord, we give you all our worries, concerns, fears, and all our issues that we are wrestling with You Lord. Father, today we pray for peace in our hearts. Teach us how to let go, to surrender, and let You lead each step. James 4:7-8 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lord, today let your voice be the loudest in our hearts. Let your promises for our lives be our comfort, strength, and hope. Let our lives be living testimonies of your Word. Father, let your Kingdom come, let your will be done on earth.
