Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 12 July 2008

My potter Today’s word of encouragement is dedicated to our Lord. I hope that you can find some time out of your Saturday to give thanks to God for all that He has done. To give thanks it is simply thanking God for the smallest things to the biggest things He has done for us. I hope that we realize that everything that we do, everything that we have, is from God. Some of us had a difficult week. Stress at work, office politics, and arguments with friends and family. But through it all, if we fail to give thanks to our Lord and our maker, we will fail miserably because we are trusting in our own strength and capacity and not in God. Whatever situation you may be in, I hope that you have found peace in your heart. If we are unable to sleep at night, it is a clear sign that you are not at peace. It is time we give praise to God. It is time we forgive. It is time we surrender all to God. Leviticus 26:6 I will grant peace in the land, and you will lie down and no one will make you afraid.
