Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 13 Feb 2009

Bridging the gap – in a crisis I believe that this financial crisis is the best opportunity for us to be used by God to bridge the gaps and to stand in the gap for others who are lost, depressed, and worried about their financial situation. Be an encourager. People in general are driven by circumstances and situations. Worried about losing their jobs, the inability to pay off their loans, the list is limitless. However, we have the ability to stand in the gap for others by encouraging them. We can bring joy in people’s lives. We can bring hope by praying. Watch and see how God can use you to speak into their lives. Be a giver. I pray that we would never stop giving. It saddens my heart when we reduce our tithes because of the recession. WHERE IS YOUR FAITH! ARE WE GOING TO ALLOW THIS RECESSION TO STOP US FROM GLORIFYING GOD? On top of giving our tithe, I pray that we would be a blessing to others especially to the poor. Many are looking for someone to stand in the gap for them. I believe that God is going to use us to bless others. Watch and see miracles take place in others and even in our own personal journey called life.
