Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 10 July 2008

My Shame Today’s word of encouragement is about understanding the importance of Repentance. Being aware of our sins is just the start and it takes humility to be aware of our sins. If we seek complete repentance for ALL our sins, we have laid down the right foundations. Just by repenting it makes it easier to move on forward. I wonder how many of us are stuck. We just can’t seem to move on forward. We have no direction in life, and everyday seems to be a chore to wake up. Does the world from your eyes look ugly? I offer to you today a suggestion. Seek repentance, humble yourself to your sins, and simply ask God where your blind spots are. He will tell us. God wants to ignite the fire in you, the passion and zeal to live and fulfill the plans that God has. But many of us are distracted, and unwilling to let go. Today let’s remove our shame, let’s come before God and lay it all down at the foot of the cross.
