Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 17 Jun 2010

Come follow me-He leads us to our destiny Psalm 103:14-16 For He knows how we are formed, He remembers that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass, he flourishes like a flower of the field; the wind blows over it and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more. When our Father calls us to follow Him, He is leading us to our destiny. He is telling us what we are supposed to do. He is challenging us to live lives obedient to Him. I pray we would be constantly reminded that our Father does not need us to fulfil His will. The Lord our God wants to remind us, as much as He loves us-it does not give us the right to be self-centred. If we will not obey Him, He will use someone else. Our destiny is ours and ours alone. However, if we cannot allow God to lead us then we are throwing away everything God created. God formed us. He spent time creating us, the way we are, and everything inside us. I wonder how many of God creations have thrown everything away by simply being disobedient. We are His vessels. Our Father loves us and wants to use us; however, if we choose not to follow Him, there are many who can fill in the gaps. � 2010 Lee Shaun Tzen. www.everynation.org.sg
