Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 11 Mar 2008

A word from God is worth more than riches, worth more than diamonds, and the finest china. When we are faced with a life changing, life altering choice to be made, three different responses produce three very different outcomes. 1) When we act on impulse – We will never fully see God’s will for our lives. 2) When we are blinded by the truth – We know God’s will for our lives yet we choose to disobey. We have rewritten our own destiny and only through God’s redeeming blood can we be fully restored 3) We obey the Word from God – though painful at times, though lost at times, though small at times, yet we do not waver, we do not shrink back, but we shout and sing praises to God, we dance in the sight of God, we sound the trumpets, and shout our battle cry why? Because God leads and we do not entertain the voice of the enemy. Today, what is our response going to be? Will we act on our impulse? Will we walk blinded by the truth, because we don’t see things happening the way we want it? Or will we obey the Word from God, never wavering? 2 Samuel 6:14-16 14 David, wearing a linen ephod, danced before the LORD with all his might, 15 while he and the entire house of Israel brought up the ark of the LORD with shouts and the sound of trumpets. 16 As the ark of the LORD was entering the City of David, Michal daughter of Saul watched from a window.
