Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 14 Mar 2008

Ezekiel 12:1-2 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, you are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people. Father, we cry to you in desperation that we would open our eyes to see, and as we open our eyes to the work of Your hand, we pray that Your will be done. Not ours, not the enemies, not the persecutors, but Yours and Yours alone. Forgive us for our rebellious spirit, our stubbornness, our foolishness, and our lack of concern. The world faces the greatest fight in this generation: TERRORISM. Father, we seek You that Your will be done. Terrorist all over the world kill for a cause, and yet Father, they do not know You. We pray that You would shower Your love, kindness, gentleness, mercy, and grace over them. Teach us how to love, because You love us all. In this hour we pray that You would speak to us. Lord, we pray that we would remove all the distractions in our lives, so that we can begin to hear You again. God You reign, God You rule. I am weak, and You are strong.
