Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 18 Feb 2008

Moving on! Knowing when to move on is an invaluable gift. Sometimes when we make mistakes, face disappointments, or when people disappoint us; we tend to get stuck there. Today’s word of encouragement is: MOVE ON! Everyone makes mistakes and sometimes we don’t mean to. Where is the grace? If we cannot let go of the past, people making mistakes, or not having your way; well, you aren’t alone. We have to learn to give people grace, just as our Lord Jesus Christ gives us grace for our mistakes. For those of us who can’t let go, can’t move on from our mistakes, failures, sins, and struggles. This word is tough, hard, but we all need a little shaking sometimes: GROW UP!! God does not want us to be in this rut. Move on and stop dwelling on the past. These two things are the hardest things to do when we make mistakes, because we are TRYING to be perfect. Well, again WE ALL MAKE MISTAKES. God has so much planned and in store for each one of us. Whatever situation you or I maybe facing today, give it all to God. Let’s move on and stop living in our past.
