Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 10 Nov 2007

1 Corinthians 6:19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. We are all familiar with these verses, but do we realize the power of these verses? We were all purchased by Jesus! Imagine what Jesus did for each of us, every time we sin, every time we look at that woman lustfully, every time we let our fleshly desires rule over our convictions, every time ladies give their bodies so easily to that person, we are dishonoring our Father. YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN! This statement is so powerful only if we realize that the Holy Spirit, our Father lives in each of us. May today’s word of encouragement birth a new fire in each of us to Love God, to Love others with a different spirit. We see people through how God see’s them and us. We have got to start looking at others the way Jesus looks! The next time we see a lady wearing tight fitting clothes instead of judging, lusting, or condemning, let us pray for that person. Let us speak blessings, over that person that she would protect her body, because it was made specially. Today’s word is earth shaking because it is raising our standards, convictions, morals to another level. It is not giving any room, NOT EVEN A HINT of SIN. Imagine! Is that possible? Father today, forgive us, we repent for taking you for granted. Today Lord we thank you that you live in each of us. That we were bought for a price, by you Jesus. We thank you everyday, we surrender our lives to you, and today we choose to walk knowing that we are not our own. Thank you for your unfailing love, for we deserve to face our consequences, we deserve hell, yet your love is everlasting. © Oct 2007 Shaun Lee
