Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 5 Jan 2008

Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. 24 See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Today’s word of encouragement is, How far, how deep, and how serious do you want to get with your relationship with God. Verse 23 says, “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” How many of us would be willing to let God search everything inside us, to let Him see and know our hearts desires? Furthermore, how many of us would really allow God to put us to the test and know all the things that make us so anxious. We hide from the world our deepest secrets, yet who are we fooling? We are fooling ourselves, GOD SEE’S EVERYTHING. Today Lord, search me, search my heart, test me Lord, and I want You to know my deepest thoughts. Father, you know my heart and my desires, I lay them at the foot of the cross. Father, I plead that You would see if there is any offensive way in me. Lord I care most if my ways offend you above all. Lead me today in the way everlasting… In Your name I glorify You. In Your name I praise You. Thank you Jesus. © Jan 2008 Shaun Lee
