Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 19 Jan 2008

James 1:22-24 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. DO WHAT IT SAYS. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. Today’s word of encouragement is doing what God says. You see, God cares about our heart. The more we do what HE SAYS, the more God will use us. Yesterday’s word of encouragement is a good example of doing what God says. It is a fact that the people that God loves, God bless, and God uses. That is why we can’t just listen to the word and not do anything. We can’t just hear God, Go to church every Sunday, and expect to see change. WE OURSELVES HAVE TO DO!!! WHAT GOD SAYS. I hope that today’s word of encouragement will be an inspiration to you, to desire to hear God more, to want to be used by Him. Watch and see the investments that you made without expecting anything in return will reap from just doing what God says. © Jan 2008 Shaun Lee
