Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 14 Jan 2008

Psalm 37:23-4 If the LORD delights in a man's way, he makes his steps firm; 24 though he stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand. Today’s word of encouragement is taken from Psalm 37:23-24, and it is simply answering this question: How do you know that our Lord delights in your ways? Its examination time! Let us all spend some time today, tomorrow, this week, DAILY!!!! to examine our lives and see if God delights in our way. How do you know if God delights in your way? To answer this question is very simple, you will know if God really delights in your ways. It is obvious! It is clear; there is no confusion, doubt, and uncertainty. For some of us who know that God does not delight in our ways, today is your greatest day! You have a choice, continue with your old ways or today make a commitment to God, and He will uphold you with His hand making sure you will not fall. You know what the saddest thing is though, many of us know that we have a choice and many of us know what God wants us to do, but we choose not to ACT OR MAKE A DIFFERENCE. We don’t want to give up our lifestyle, our desires, and we know that giving our life to God means surrendering all. God has not given up on us all, and I hope that you know many have also not given up on you. God’s love for us all is unfailing, unconditional, and eternal. Our worldly desires are only temporal, as soon as those desires are gone what is left is: emptiness, loneliness, darkness and a lost future. We don’t have to walk in this path. © Jan 2008 Shaun Lee
