Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 18 Jan 2008

Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 18 Jan 2008

Investing in the stock market is one of the trickiest things to do because there is risk involved. What everyone wants is an investment that guarantees the highest returns with minimum risk.

What is your investment like when we are talking about your relationship with God? If you base your relationship with God the same way as an investment in the stock market, I can tell you that you have the wrong perspective.

What is your investment like with your children? And if you aren’t married are you in any way being a role model to the youth? Or do you simply not care?

You see today’s word of encouragement is about investing in things that are worth more than money, and you expect absolutely no returns back.

I hope that we would open our eyes to see things differently today, instead of focusing on ourselves all the time. I have a challenge for you today, make an investment today without expecting any returns. What is it going to be? Your children, financially supporting missions, serving others, helping the less fortunate? This list is limitless, what is God saying to you today?

2 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
