Prayers for the youth and marriages – 7 Apr 2009 Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Father, in your mercy bring healing, peace, transformation, and establish your Holiness as the solid and firm foundation in the youth of today. Father, you are the way, the truth and the life. No one will ever go to the Father except through the Lord Jesus Christ. Today, we declare that your Word will always be the truth. Not science books, not "mother nature", not evolution, not idolatry. But the name of Jesus will be the guide, the light, and we pray today that the Word of God will be treasured by the youth. We pray blessings upon the youth. You love them dearly, and you are going to use them. We thank you and praise your name. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Habakkuk 2:18 Of what value is an idol, since a man has carved it? Father, you are the way, the truth and the life. No one will ever go to the Father except through the Lord Jesus Christ. We pray right now for those that have lost their jobs and who are struggling to find a job. We pray right now that You would instil in us a strong sense of faith, trust and hope. We pray against discouragement. We pray against laziness, against stubbornness. We pray that through these difficult times our relationship with You would not weaken but strengthen. Lord, You can use anyone to fulfil Your purpose and plan. Today, we pray for those that are in desperation to support their families. Protect them, their hearts, and families. Father, we pray that we would never allow circumstances to dictate our lives and from loving our families even more. Today, we pray that the love of the Lord would be established. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
