Prayers for the youth and marriages – 4 Apr 2009 Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Lord almighty, we pray for rest right now to be poured on every child. Protect our children O Lord for unnecessary competition. Teach our children and give them the discernment to know which battles are important to fight for and which ones are wastes of time. Lord, today we pray that every child would remember and know that they are defined and made by You. Lord, it saddens me to see young children with white hair, stressed because of school, and lost because they don’t know what they were made to do in life. In Jesus name we pray for vision and direction. In the name of Jesus we pray for peace in every child. We pray for rest and good sleep. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Exodus 33:14 My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.

Lord today we pray for the spirit of joy to be poured on every marriage. Where there has been spiritual drought, anger, strife, fighting, bitterness, we pray that You would bring restoration through the spirit of joy. Father we claim your blessings right now. We pray for more joy in our families and our households. In the name of Jesus we pray that the enemy will have no foothold of our joy. Lord, you are greater that the enemy and we thank you for the joy that is going to take place. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
