Prayers for the youth and marriages – 1 Apr 2009 Proverbs 19:27 Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Father, we pray right now that You would help our children see the things that You see. Help our children recognise the things that make You sad O Lord. Today, we pray that the Lord’s voice would be the loudest thing we hear in our hearts, minds, and soul. Lord, we pray that our children would focus on their relationship with You. We pray that they would change their lifestyle, change their attitude, and surrender everything to You. Today, we pray that we would take our relationship with You seriously. Father, we pray that the weak and broken hearted would turn their eyes towards You for strength. Lord, every marriage needs to be founded on the Word of God, on Your promises, and we must always rely on the Lord for strength and not on our own. Today, we pray that every couple would continue to strengthen their love and relationship with each other. We pray for every marriage. We pray against the complacent spirit. Father, shape our hearts, our minds, and souls. Help us hear your voice. We pray that the Lord’s warning would be as sharp as a double edge sword that will prevent us from destroying our marriage. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
