Prayers for the youth and marriages – 6 Apr 2009 Ecclesiastes 11:6 Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

Father, we pray right now that You would awaken our children. Open their eyes that they may get a wake-up call. Lord I sense that many children have grown up without opening their eyes and seeing Your magnificent plans. Many are selfish, spoilt, and don’t care about You. However, there are a few that know You, that love You, and only care about You. We pray right now that You would pour Your love, blessings, honour, and praise on them. Father, we pray that You would instil a strong sense of purpose and meaning in Your children that love You Lord. We pray that the gift of righteousness will be poured on them. We pray that they would continue to build and strengthen their relationship with You. In Jesus name we pray, amen. © 2009 Lee Shaun Tzen

Build every marriage right now O Lord. We pray that they would be able to respond in love, in self-control, in peace, in humility towards conflict, towards correction, towards rebuke. We pray that couples would desire to be discipled and mentored by wise counsel, by those that have gone before them and have withstood the tests of life. Marriage isn’t easy and it should never be taken for granted. The choices that we make today affect tomorrow. Help us Father. Help us to value and treasure the husband/wife that You have given to us. Father, help us to value the amazing destinies. As two become one, we pray that our love towards our spouse will only grow stronger and stronger. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
