Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 11 Aug 2008

What is worth more: Hard work or an easy life? Today’s word of encouragement is about laziness. There are so many verses in proverbs alone that speak on hard work and laziness. Despite this fact, many people still choose to live a lazy lifestyle. In my lifetime, I have come across many different types of people. But I have to say, that whether or not people are intellectually smart, it does not matter. Those that are walking in God’s blessings are those that put in their best and work hard. It saddens me to see intellectually smart, talented, gifted people waste their lives away simply because they want to choose the easy life. Let us remember that the path to eternal life is through the narrow gate and not many will go through it, why? Because the life of those that choose to be called sons and daughters of God live a lifestyle of hard work not letting Satan any room to master their life. But many will go through the wide gate, why? Because, they choose to compromise their relationship with God.
