Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 10 Aug 2008

What is worth more: Settling for God’s best or less? Isn’t it interesting that we all know that settling for anything less that God’s best is something that we all don’t want to do, yet we often settle for things that are less than God’s best. Impatience and the unwillingness to wait on God, causes us to settle for things that are less that God’s best for us. Today’s word of encouragement is about hearing God’s voice clearly. In my opinion, when we don’t listen to God we often settle for things less that God’s best. It is more than just finding the right woman/man to marry, or career, future direction in life, etc. Listening to God’s voice and settling for God’s best in everything in life is vital and essential. We are never promised a pain free life. Life is uncertain, but why settle for anything less that God’s best for us?
