Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 2 Aug 2008

Aligning your will to God's: The passion driver Today’s word of encouragement is something that is very dear to my heart, but most of all it is vital for alignment to God’s will. The passion driver. The word passion means: excitement, enthusiasm, zeal, and to find delight. The lack of passion is simple, just put the words “lack of” in front. Is there anything in our lives right now that we lack excitement, lack enthusiasm, zeal, or delight? In my opinion, we have to open the eyes of our heart and keep asking God to lead, guide, and light our path. To treasure our relationship with God most of all is greater than anything we could achieve in life. Today, let’s take this opportunity to re-examine our life, our lifestyle, careers, our thoughts, dreams, friendships, and finally how much time we spend in communication with God. God is knocking at the doors of our hearts, wanting to come in, yet sometimes our desires, goals in life, achievements to succeed in life gets in the way. Let us pray that we would today open and let God into our lives.
