Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 6 Aug 2008

Aligning your will to God's: Confusion, uncertainty, chaos As we set our eyes on aligning our will to God’s, sometimes we may face times of confusion not knowing what is going on. Uncertain of the future, uncertain of what God is really saying to us. Chaos sometimes creeps into our lives, desperate to make use of this life that God has made. Today, I believe that God is going to transform our lives. God wants us to seek Him, and continue seeking Him. In my opinion God knows what is best for us. Sometimes God’s answers to our prayers are clear and precise. Sometimes His response is delayed, or He remains silent. Honestly, confusion, uncertainty, and chaos are brought about because we are seeing things from our perspective. If we are in confusion right now, it is time to seek God and surrender everything to God. If we are uncertain about what is happening, who are you going to rely on? Your own strength or God’s? If our lives are in chaos, it is time we let go. It is time we let God bring order in our lives. Aligning our will to God’s begins with wanting a deep relationship with God above everything else. (Please read all of 1 Chronicles 17:16-26) Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? 17 And as if this were not enough in your sight, O God, you have spoken about the future of the house of your servant.
