Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 4 Aug 2008

Aligning your will to God's: On synchronize mode Today’s word of encouragement is an analogy worth investing in. To be synchronized to God’s will is priceless. The reason why it is priceless is because it means that we are in harmony, in coordination with God. Today, I believe that God is wanting us to be synchronized to His will, if only we are willing to align our will to God’s. Thinking about what synchronize means, makes me picture a perfect team. There are many teams that are remembered not just because of what there were able to accomplish, but because of the amazing teamwork. From politics, to military forces, sports, and even marriages. Today, let us examine how our teamwork with God is like. Is God doing all the work? Are we being stubborn and unwilling to let go of control? Have we been distracted? The perfect teammate is God. Today, let’s pray that we would synchronize our lives completely with God’s will. Matthew 11:29-30 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
