Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 28 Apr 2010

No other God like our God-HE will humble the wisdom of the world 1 Corinthians 1:18-19 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." The Lord our God is reminding us this very important fact: there is none like Him. Today, the Lord is touching on a very important subject which I pray we would not take lightly. He is going to use the weak things of this world to humble the strong. He is going to use the foolish things of this world to humble the wise. Why is God going to do this? So the world can see His power. Right now we may feel like the smallest people in the world and we are the most insignificant. No one wants to hear us, how in the world is God going to use us. I pray we would not give the enemy so much credit. There is no other God like our God. He is calling us out of our comfort zone. I pray we would be ready. What do we need to be ready with? Nothing but the Word of God and our relationship with God. He will use the foolish things of this world to humble the wise. Are we chasing after the wisdom of the world, worldly wealth, and fame?
