One piece at a time-born again John 3:3 I tell you the truth, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless he is born again. Today the Lord our God is reminding us of our second birth. Our second birth is more important than our first because, no one can see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again. John 3:5-6 I tell you the truth, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. When we commit our lives to God it is a whole different story altogether. It is the ability to recognise the importance in letting go of our will, desires, and wants because all we want is God and nothing less. It is the feeling of knowing that I can lose everything in life, but one thing I cannot give up and that is my relationship with God. Our second birth is vital. Today, have we forgotten about our second birth? Have we failed to recognise what it means to be born of water and of the Spirit? The Lord has washed us clean and we cannot take that for granted. The Lord lives and dwells in us, the Spirit leads and guides us, but have we neglected the Spirit of the Lord? 1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring Word of God. Right now are we certain that we have been born again? It takes one piece at a time to build an intimate relationship with God.
