Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 6 to 12 Apr 2010 1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

We pray for our children today O Lord. We pray for hearts to be broken right now. We pray for spirits to be humbled, bowed to One, and souls utterly surrendered to You O Lord. We seek You O Lord. We pray that our youth would never take their relationship with You for granted. Father, You have a mighty work for our children. A mighty plan and a destiny worth every fight. However, the battle to open the eyes of our children is not easy. Today, we pray for hearts to be broken so our Lord Jesus Christ can enter. O Lord, we cry out on behalf of our children. We seek You O Lord, to give us the wisdom and guidance. Many take their lives for granted. Many are selfish. O Lord, break our hearts today so we can be moulded by You. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Guide every marriage today O Lord. Teach us how to love when we are not loved back. Teach us to speak kindly towards one another to show grace and mercy. Teach us how to love everyday as though it was our first. Help us to forgive always. We pray that our homes would be defined by You. We pray for the definition of marriage to be established and defined by our Lord today when so many take marriage lightly, we pray that You would be our solid rock and foundation. O Lord, we pray in the name of Jesus for Your protection everyday. We pray for Your light to shine upon the earth. We pray for Your name to be exalted upon the earth. In the name of Jesus guide us through the toughest hours. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
