Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 17 Apr 2010

Prayers for the youth and marriages ~ 17 Apr 2010

1 Corinthians 12:26 If one suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honoured, every part rejoices with it.

Father, every child has been made in Your image. Today, we pray that they would further develop their God given talent and creativity.

We pray that our children would strive to develop their inner man/woman. Father, work in our character. Work in us, so we can be sons and daughters that are pleasing to You O Lord.

Father, we pray that our children would recognise the battle ahead for them is not going to be easy. They have so many forces against them. We pray that they would begin to grow intimate with You right now. We pray that every Child would begin to open the doors of their hearts so You may enter and reign.

In the name of Jesus, we declare the will of our children Yours. Today and forever, may they be used by You. We pray for the difficult child, they are precious in Your sight. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Lord we thank You right now for the many answered prayers, the many amazing testimonies that will come to pass. Today we pray for great faith to rise up within us. Lord You come first!

Father, we thank you for the many restored marriages. Many are still distant and slowly fading away. However, we will NEVER stop praying and we will not give up! We will continue to stand by You praying and believe that God will restore, mend, heal, and bring breakthroughs.

Father, we pray that we would rekindle love. We pray that seeds of love will be planted throughout the years, months, days, hours, minutes, and every second we spend with our spouse.

In the name of Jesus we pray that couples would begin to communicate with each other on a deeper level. We pray that we would not use our children as an excuse or as a crutch. It starts with us. Amen.
