Words of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 27 Oct 2008

God blesses even the small things Is it hard for you to enjoy the little things in life? Maybe for the first time in a long time you were able to have a peaceful dinner with your family. Maybe your child uttered his/her first words last night, or took his/her first steps by themselves. In some countries these blessings are a luxury. Death is a certainty. I hope that we would relook and evaluate all that God has done for us. Hopefully we would be able to be a blessing to others because of all that God has done. As God blesses us we in turn can bless others who are worst off than us. Burried in our hearts are many of us wanting to serve the community and make a difference. What is stopping you? There are many sick people that need to be encouraged. There are many orphans that need guidance. There are many elderly that need to just talk. Today, I hope we would take the time to thank God for the little things that God has done. I hope we would realize that in our eyes they maybe little but in the years to come they could be big blessings.
