Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 7 Oct 2008

The test of faith- where does your Passion lie? Today’s word of encouragement is very dear to my heart. It is my hearts desire and prayer that everyone in this world will be able to fulfill their passion in life. Many of us may be doing something that we aren’t passionate about in life, but we are doing it because it pays well. If this is our only reason why we are not fulfilling our passion, we have killed our passion in life. What is our delay? Is it fear of failure? Is it because of financial security? Is it because you have kids to educate and feed? Let me put it simply. In my opinion the devil has won when we stop short of our destiny, when we give up our passion. Imagine what the world would be like, if EVERYONE was living their life to the fullest for God and fulfilling their passion. Today, I believe the enemy is going to be very scared. We have the ability to make a difference. The test of faith is fulfilling our passion despite the uncertain, the lack, and the unseen. 1 Corinthians 4:18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. The key word in the verse above is eternal!!
