Prayers for the youth and marriages – 20 Oct 2008

Father right now we pray that you would bless the hands of your children. Lord, as they mature and grow older we pray that You would bless their hands and everything they see and hear. Father, we pray that you would protect their innocence. As they grow up we pray that you would bless every youth right now with a discerning spirit. One that is able to distinguish right from wrong. God, we pray that every youth would be able to protect their minds, body, and spirit from harm. Lord, we pray right now that every youth will be able to have a strong relationship with You O Lord. In the name of Jesus, we ask You to take control and bind anyone who wants to rob the youth of their innocence. In Your name we pray, amen. Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise him. © 2008 Shaun Lee

Bless the hands of every married couple. As they sow into their marriage, as they sow into the lives of their children, as they sow into their careers, help us never to neglect sowing into our relationship with You O Lord. Thank you Lord for being our guide, our light, our fortress, and our strength everyday. Father, where we have taken our relationship with you for granted, we ask for Your forgiveness. Today, we pray that we would start afresh and lay our solid foundation in You. Lord, we are well aware that the enemy is at the front door of our hearts daily. Right now in the name of Jesus we pray that there will be no room in our hearts for satan, because You O Lord dwell in our hearts. Lord, thank you for being our light in times of darkness. Keep our marriages burning for You. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him.
