Prayers for the youth and marriages – 13 Oct 2008

Prayers for the youth and marriages – 13 Oct 2008

Lord, thank you for every youth. We pray for a spark to take place in the hearts of every youth. In the name of Jesus we pray that youth crime would fall throughout the world. We pray that youth death rates would fall through gangs.

Father, we pray for greater wisdom. We pray that every child today would recognize their worth, their value, and know their purpose at a young age. Open their eyes, open their hearts, and open their minds.

Right now we call out their destiny. In the name of Jesus, we thank you. Right now the Lord is going to shake and transform this world. Right now we pray that youths would take ownership of their calling.

We pray against fear, we pray for strength through failure and adversity, we pray for boldness and courage. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

Father, we thank you for every parent right now. We pray that you would give them strength and faithfulness. We pray for closer relationships, bonds, and ties between fathers and sons, mothers and daughters.

Father, help us not to waste time. Help us not to regret. Father, teach us to discipline the way you discipline us. We pray against abuse. That is not of you. Right now in the name of Jesus we pray for parents who will parent righteously.

Lord, we thank you for the transformation that is going to take place. Help fathers all over the world to parent righteously. We pray for active fathers who will not be lazy. We pray for mothers right now. Help them to let go. Help them to nurture and not be so controlling to the point that pushes your children away.

Father, right now in the name of Jesus we pray for health families, homes, marriages, and relationships. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Proverbs 23:13 Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish him with the rod, he will not die.
