Prayers for the youth and marriages – 2 Oct 2008

Father, as we focus our prayers today on the youth. We pray that you would raise up leaders who would lead by example for the next generation. As the world continues to liberalize and distort the role of man and woman, God today, we pray for righteous leaders to lead. Your Word is clear, yet men distort your Word. Today, help us Lord. Help us to open the yes of your sons and daughters. Help us to instill your righteousness, your love, and your word into the lives of the youth. In Jesus name we pray, amen. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, “declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. © 2008 Shaun Lee

God almighty, we pray the quarrelling and quick tempered couples right now. In the name of Jesus we pray that you would bind and shut tightly the tongues of the unwise. Proverbs 15:1 says, “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” Father, we pray for couples to be quick to forgive. We pray for greater wisdom and understanding. Most often fights occur because of miscommunication or a lack of communication. Today, we pray that you would remove the work of the enemy who wants to spit and tear marriages apart. Today we pray for strength, perseverance, and hope. Do not give up. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
