Word of Encouragement for Every New Day ~ 16 Dec 2007

Hebrews 10:38-39 38 But my righteous one will live by faith. And if he shrinks back, I will not be pleased with him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who believe and are saved. Shrinking back, it is so easy to shrink back! To give up, to not walk down this path because it is riskier and has more uncertainties. But the word of God says in Hebrews 10:38, But my righteous one will live by faith. Sometimes living this Christian life we say we believe, we say we have faith, but deep down do we really say what we believe? Or, is it just for show? If we shrink back, God will not be pleased. If we fall short of our destiny, if we limit ourselves because of the “BAD” things that have happen to me, if we camp out and say, someone else can do a better job than me, God will not be pleased. Today! Let us cry out to God, and claim verse 39 over our lives, those that we love (our children, husbands, wives, family, friends), and those that are hurting (giving up on God, suffering, wrecked, and weak). Father, we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but Father we are those who believe and are saved. © Dec 2007 Shaun Lee
